DigiAge Project Meeting, UCL
Following the first meeting at Lancaster in October 2022, the project team met at the UCL Interaction Centre (UCLIC) on the 26th and 27th January to discuss progress and to welcome Ewan to the team.
On Thursday, and as part of an open Q & A format, Bran, Aneesha and Caroline provided details of their respective research strands, Julia gave an update on work at Lancaster and Ewan presented slides setting out UCL’s plans for a series of workshops. On Friday, Andrew gave the background to ELSA and talked us through its most recent questionnaire. We finished up by sharing details of any upcoming events likely to be of interest to the project, as well as identifying and discussing important next steps and milestones. It was agreed that fortnightly informal virtual drop-in/catch-up sessions would be set up to help us keep track of progress across the various project research lenses/foci.
In all, it felt like a great deal of ground was covered and we really enjoyed coming down to meet the rest of the team. Thanks to our UCL colleagues for their wonderful welcome, and Aneesha for organising it all (the curries were totally delicious!)
